Ingredients:
  • 2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 0.33333334326744 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • 1.5 teaspoons baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
  • Prepare all ingredients.
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease an 8-inch square pan.
  • Combine oats, brown sugar, white sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl, blending until well mixed.
  • Combine milk, eggs, canola oil, and vanilla in a separate bowl and whisk until smooth.
  • Combine the egg mixture with the oats until fully incorporated, then allow it to rest for 20 minutes to develop flavors.
  • Evenly press the oat mixture into the pan.
  • Bake until the edges turn golden brown, around 30 minutes in the preheated oven.
  • Take out of the oven and allow to cool fully before slicing into 16 bars.
