Banana walnut loaf: A moist and flavorful bread made with ripe bananas, perfect for anytime snacking.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and lightly grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  • In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to cream together sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix in mashed bananas. In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt; then beat into banana mixture until just combined. Gently fold in nuts and pour batter into the prepared pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
