Banana Nutella puff pastry bites with cream cheese frosting - a crowd-pleasing and easy dessert!
Ingredients:
  • 3 (10x15-inch) sheets of frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 cup chocolate-hazelnut spread (such as Nutella®), divided
  • 3 bananas, sliced
  • 0.5 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 2.25 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 0.25 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
  • - Preheat your oven to a toasty 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). - Give a loving touch to two 24-count mini-muffin tins by greasing them with cooking spray.
  • Cut each puff pastry sheet into quarters, then further cut each quarter into 4 pieces to create square shapes. Place one piece of puff pastry into each mini-muffin cup.
  • Top each pastry square with a generous layer of chocolate-hazelnut spread and place three slices of banana on top.
  • Place in the already heated oven and bake until a beautiful golden brown color appears, which should take around 15 to 18 minutes. Then, move the baked goods to a wire rack to cool down completely.
  • Using an electric mixer, whip cream cheese in a bowl until smooth for about 2 minutes. Mix in heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract until the frosting is thick and creamy.
  • Top the banana slices with cream cheese frosting using a piping bag or spoon.
