Easy French-style crêpes using pantry staples. Ideal for sweet or savory brunch fillings.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Instructions:
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and eggs, then gradually mix in milk and water. Add salt and melted butter, beating until smooth.
  • Preheat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium-high heat. Pour or scoop 1/4 cup of batter onto the griddle, then tilt the pan in a circular motion to spread the batter evenly.
  • Cook the crêpe until the top is no longer wet and the bottom turns light brown, about 1 to 2 minutes. Gently loosen the edges with a spatula, flip, and cook the other side until light brown, approximately 1 minute. Serve hot.
