Create ultimate BBQ bacon cheeseburger meatballs: gooey Cheddar center, wrapped in crispy bacon, smothered in tangy BBQ sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 0.5 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 0.25 cup finely minced onion
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Montreal steak seasoning
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 (8 ounce) package sharp Cheddar cheese, cut into 8 cubes
  • 4 slices bacon, cut in half
  • 2 tablespoons barbecue sauce (such as Sweet Baby Ray's®)
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 425 degrees F (220 degrees C) and set up a cooking rack on a baking sheet.
  • Mix ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, steak seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl until well combined. Shape into 8 meatballs, each one with a cube of Cheddar cheese inside. Wrap each meatball with half a slice of bacon and place seam-side down on a cooking rack with 1 to 2 inches of space between them.
  • Preheat oven. Bake meatballs for 20 minutes. Lower heat to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) and bake for another 10 minutes until browned. Check the internal temperature with a thermometer; it should reach 160 degrees F (71 degrees C).
  • Once done baking, generously coat the meatballs with tangy barbecue sauce.
