Beef & broccoli stir-fry

Succulent beef and broccoli stir-fry with flavorful soy glaze.
Ingredients:
  • 200 g purple sprouting broccoli
  • 1 red onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 5 cm piece of ginger
  • 1 fresh red chilli
  • 1 lime
  • 2 teaspoons coriander seeds
  • 2 x 300 g quality sirloin steaks
  • olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • sesame oil
Instructions:
  • In a heatproof bowl, add broccoli with a pinch of sea salt and cover with boiling water. Let it sit for 10 minutes, then drain. Peel and finely slice the onion and garlic, chop the ginger, slice the chili, and cut the lime into wedges. Crush coriander seeds with salt and black pepper in a mortar. Cut the steak into strips, coat with spices. Heat a wok with 1 teaspoon of olive oil, fry onions, garlic, and ginger for 2 minutes. Add beef, cook for 2 minutes, then add broccoli and cook for another 2 minutes. Stir in soy sauce and sesame oil. Serve with noodles or rice, topped with chili and lime juice. Enjoy!
