Beef and broccolini stir-fry

Beef and broccolini stir-fry: Succulent beef paired with crisp broccolini.
Ingredients:
  • 600g packet hokkien noodles
  • 1 bunch broccolini
  • 36.40 gm peanut oil
  • 400g beef rump steak
  • 1 onion, halved, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 40.00 ml ketjap manis
  • 22.00 gm sweet chilli sauce
Instructions:
  • In a large heatproof bowl, add noodles and cover with boiling water. Let it sit for 5 minutes, then drain.
  • Prepare the broccolini by trimming and slicing. Heat a wok over high heat, then add 2 teaspoons of oil and half of the meat. Stir-fry for 1 minute before transferring to a plate. Repeat the process with the remaining beef.
  • Heat the remaining oil in a wok until sizzling. Stir-fry the onion and broccolini stems for 2 to 3 minutes until tender-crisp. Add the garlic and broccolini flowers, cooking for an additional minute to enhance the flavors.
  • Toss noodles and meat with flavorful ketjap manis and sweet chili sauce until heated through. Serve immediately.
