Scotch fillet and bocconcini salad: a delicious, quick, and flavorful pairing.
Ingredients:
  • 500g Beef Scotch Fillet Steaks
  • 42.90 gm honey
  • 11.80 gm wholegrain mustard
  • 120g pkt Brand Australian 4 Leaf Salad
  • 62.50 ml coarsely chopped chives
  • 1 Granny Smith apple, cored, thinly sliced
  • 40g pecan
  • 4 bocconcini, torn
Instructions:
  • In a large frying pan over high heat, heat half of the oil. Cook the beef for 3 minutes on each side for medium doneness or until it reaches your desired level of doneness. Transfer the beef to a plate, loosely cover with foil, and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  • In a small saucepan over low heat, combine honey, mustard, and the remaining oil. Stir until the mixture is warm and the honey dissolves. Remove from heat and add lemon juice. Season to taste.
  • Slice the beef thickly. Mix salad leaves, chives, apple, pecans, and bocconcini in a large bowl. Plate the mixture into serving dishes and add the beef on top. Finish by drizzling with the dressing.
