Delicious skillet dinner with avocado, bacon, burgers, and ranch dressing.
Ingredients:
  • 3 strips thick-cut bacon, chopped
  • 1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
  • 6 green onions, thinly sliced, greens and whites separated
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 box Hamburger Helper™ cheeseburger macaroni
  • 1 cup shredded pepper Jack cheese (4 oz)
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 avocado, pitted, peeled and cubed
  • 1/2 cup crushed tortilla chips
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro leaves
Instructions:
  • In a large nonstick skillet, cook the bacon until crisp over medium heat for 5 to 7 minutes. Transfer the bacon to a small bowl using a slotted spoon. Add the beef and white parts of the green onions to the bacon drippings in the skillet. Cook over medium-high heat for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring often, until the beef is fully cooked. Drain the excess oil.
  • Combine chili powder, milk, hot water, and uncooked pasta with sauce mix from the Hamburger Helper™ box in a pot. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 9 to 11 minutes until pasta is tender, stirring occasionally.
  • Take the dish off the heat. Sprinkle a generous amount of cheese on top, cover, and allow it to sit for 2 to 3 minutes until the cheese is perfectly melted. Finish with a luscious drizzle of ranch dressing, followed by a vibrant touch of crispy bacon, fresh green onion greens, creamy avocado, crunchy tortilla chips, and fragrant cilantro.
