Spicy homemade chili topped with sour cream, cheddar, and crackers. Addictively delicious!
Ingredients:
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 2 large white onions, chopped
  • 2 green bell peppers, seeded and chopped
  • 1 habanero pepper, chopped
  • 3 (15 ounce) cans kidney beans, drained
  • 3 (15 ounce) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 drop super-hot hot pepper sauce
Instructions:
  • Brown the ground beef in a large pot over medium heat until cooked through. Remove from heat and drain off any excess grease.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Sauté onions, green pepper, and habanero pepper until onions are translucent. Remove from heat and add the mixture to the pot with the ground beef. Set the heat to medium.
  • Combine the kidney beans, tomato sauce, chili powder, salt, garlic salt, and hot pepper sauce into the beef mixture. Bring to a simmer, adjusting seasonings to taste. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
