Try my family-approved whole wheat cookie recipe - a healthy delight!
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 cups butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
  • 4.75 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup ground pecans
  • 4 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect bake.
  • Combine brown sugar, white sugar, and butter in a bowl until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, blending well. Mix in vanilla, salt, and baking soda. Fold in ground pecans and flour. Gently stir in chocolate chips, being careful not to over mix after adding the flour.
  • Scoop cookie dough onto parchment-lined baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes until the cookies lightly brown at the edges. Allow to cool on the baking sheets briefly before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
