Festive fall doughnuts with Bisquick™ and Oreo™ cookies, ideal for Halloween or autumn treat.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2/3 cup crushed Oreo chocolate creme sandwich cookies
  • 4 oz semisweet baking chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons orange candy sprinkles
  • 1/3 cup coarsely crushed Oreo chocolate creme sandwich cookies
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 425°F and generously spray 2 doughnut pans with cooking spray.
  • Combine Bisquick mix, sugar, milk, vanilla, and egg in a medium bowl until well blended. Pour in melted butter and mix until fully incorporated. Fold in 2/3 cup of crushed cookies. Transfer the batter into a resealable plastic bag, cut off 1/2 inch of the corner, and pipe batter into pans.
  • Bake for 7 to 9 minutes until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Then, transfer the doughnuts from the pan to a cooling rack and let them cool for 5 minutes.
  • Place the chocolate and whipping cream in a small microwavable bowl. Microwave uncovered on High for 45 seconds. Stir with a whisk until smooth. Dip the tops of the doughnuts in the ganache, allowing any excess to drip off. Return the doughnuts to the cooling rack and decorate with candy sprinkles and coarsely crushed cookies. Allow them to stand until the ganache sets.
