Whip up eye-catching Halloween cupcakes with Betty Crocker™ chocolate cake mix, black and orange frosting, and polka dots.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Chocolate Fudge Cake Mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on cake mix box
  • 1 cup from 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Vanilla Frosting
  • 1/2 teaspoon orange paste food color
  • 1 cup from 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Chocolate Frosting
  • 1/2 teaspoon black paste food color
  • 1/2 cup black candy-coated chocolate candies
  • 1/2 cup orange candy-coated chocolate candies
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pans) and line 24 regular-size muffin cups with paper baking cups.
  • Prepare the cake mix for cupcakes as per the instructions on the box using water, oil, and eggs. Let them cool for 10 minutes, then transfer them from the pans to cooling racks. Allow them to cool completely.
  • Mix vanilla frosting with orange food color in one bowl, and mix chocolate frosting with black food color in another bowl. Frost each cupcake top with orange frosting on one side and chocolate frosting on the other side. Decorate the orange frosting with black candies and the chocolate frosting with orange candies.
