Elevate your blue cheese burger with a sweet and crunchy pear slaw.
Ingredients:
  • 500g 3 Star Beef Mince
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 40.00 ml flat-leaf parsley, chopped
  • 4.60 gm olive oil
  • 4 slices Castello® Burger Blue cheese
  • 4 white hamburger rolls, split, lightly toasted
  • Chips, to serve
  • 60ml buttermilk
  • 18.20 gm olive oil
  • 21.00 gm lemon juice
  • 11.80 gm Dijon mustard
  • 1 small pear, cored, cut into matchsticks
  • 250.00 ml red cabbage, shredded
  • 1 spring onion, thinly sliced
  • 25g walnut
Instructions:
  • In a large bowl, create a flavorful dressing by combining buttermilk, oil, lemon juice, and mustard. Season to taste. Add in the pear, cabbage, spring onion, and walnuts. Cover and chill in the fridge.
  • Mix together the mince, garlic, and parsley in a bowl, shaping the mixture into 4 even patties. Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 3 minutes on each side until fully cooked. Finish by topping each patty with a slice of Castello® Burger Blue during the last minute of cooking.
  • Assemble rolls by layering slaw, patties, and roll tops. Enjoy with a side of chips.
