Cozy blueberry oatmeal with flax seed, cinnamon, and vanilla - a quick and delicious way to start your day right!
Ingredients:
  • 1.3333333730698 cups water
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 0.66666668653488 cup quick oats
  • 1 tablespoon crushed flax seed
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 0.25 cup fresh blueberries, or more to taste
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan, bring water and salt to a boil. Add oats and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally until halfway tender. Mix in flax, brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until oats are tender and desired consistency is achieved. Finally, stir in milk and blueberries before serving.
