Delicious homemade dinner rolls - pure comfort and joy!
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
  • 3 1/4 cups Gold Medal™ Better for Bread™ flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3 teaspoons bread machine or active dry yeast
  • Butter or margarine, melted, if desired
Instructions:
  • Add all ingredients, excluding the melted butter, into the bread machine pan following the manufacturer's specified order. Choose the Dough/Manual cycle and avoid using the delay cycle.
  • Use your hands lightly dusted with flour to gently remove the dough from the pan. Cover the dough and allow it to rest on a lightly floured surface for 10 minutes.
  • Prepare a generously greased large cookie sheet with shortening. Divide the dough into 15 equal pieces and shape each into a ball. Arrange the balls on the cookie sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart. Cover and allow the dough to rise in a warm place for 30 to 40 minutes, or until doubled in size (indicating readiness with a remaining indentation when touched).
  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Bake until golden brown, about 12 to 15 minutes. Brush with melted butter and enjoy warm or cool on a wire rack.
