Breakfast Pizza with Scrambled Eggs

Indulge in a mouthwatering breakfast pizza loaded with scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, colorful peppers, onions, and gooey Italian cheese.
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray (such as Pam®)
  • 1 (16 ounce) package refrigerated pizza dough
  • 4 teaspoons unsalted butter, divided
  • 1 pound bacon
  • 1 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 8 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 (8 ounce) package shredded Italian cheese blend
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and generously coat a 16-inch large pizza pan with cooking spray.
  • Spread out the pizza dough on the pan and generously brush with 1 teaspoon of melted butter.
  • Remove from the oven after baking for 4 minutes.
  • Fry the bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat, flipping occasionally until it's golden brown, approximately 10 minutes. Place the cooked bacon on paper towels to absorb excess grease, then chop it up.
  • In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Add bell pepper and onion and stir-fry for 3 minutes. Pour in beaten eggs and scramble, stirring constantly, until eggs start to set but are slightly liquid on the sides, about 2 to 3 minutes. Spread evenly over the crust. Sprinkle chopped bacon on top of the eggs. Finish with an even layer of Italian cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Place the pizza in the oven that's already hot until the bottom is golden brown and the cheese is melted, which should take around 6 to 8 minutes. Allow it to cool for about 5 minutes, then slice it and enjoy.
