Stir-fried steak and broccoli in savory soy-ginger sauce, perfect over rice or noodles.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 pound boneless round steak, cut into bite size pieces
  • 0.25 teaspoon chopped fresh ginger root
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chopped fresh broccoli
Instructions:
  • Combine flour, broth, sugar, and soy sauce in a small bowl, stirring until sugar and flour are fully dissolved.
  • Over high heat, sear the beef in a large skillet or wok for 2 to 4 minutes until browned. Add in the broth mixture, ginger, garlic, and broccoli. Allow it to reach a boil, then lower the heat and let it simmer for 5 to 10 minutes until the sauce thickens.
