Impressively easy brownie pops - perfect for parties and gatherings. Cut, stick, dip in chocolate. Crowd-pleasing sweet treat.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Delights Supreme Original Brownie Mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on brownie mix box for cakelike brownies
  • 16 craft sticks (flat wooden sticks with round ends)
  • 1 1/4 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 teaspoons shortening
  • Assorted Betty Crocker™ Decorating Decors candy sprinkles
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (or 325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Line a 9-inch square pan with foil, leaving an overhang. Grease the foil with shortening or cooking spray. Prepare and bake brownies according to package instructions for a cakelike texture. Allow to cool fully on a rack for about 1 1/2 hours.
  • Chill the brownies in the freezer for 30 minutes. Once cold, lift the brownies using foil, and peel away the foil gently. Cut the brownies into 16 bars, arranging them in 4 rows by 4 rows. Insert a craft stick into the end of each bar, removing the foil if needed. Transfer the brownie bars onto a cookie sheet and freeze for another 30 minutes.
  • Place the chocolate chips and shortening in a small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on High for about 1 minute, stirring until smooth. If needed, microwave in 5-second increments. Dip the top 1/3 to 1/2 of each brownie into the chocolate, then sprinkle with candy sprinkles. Lay the brownies flat on waxed paper or foil and allow them to sit for about 1 hour until the chocolate sets.
