Whip up decadent homemade chocolate brownies effortlessly with just 7 pantry staples.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup butter
  • 2 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 0.33333334326744 cup sifted all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and gently grease an 8-inch square baking pan.
  • Gently melt butter and chocolate in a double boiler, stirring often and ensuring to scrape down the sides with a rubber spatula to prevent burning. Once melted, mix in sugar, flour, eggs, salt, and vanilla extract until the batter is smooth. Carefully fold walnuts into the batter and spread it into the prepared pan.
  • Bake in the oven until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted in the center, roughly 25 minutes. Slice brownies while they are still warm.
