Buffalo turkey meatloaf with spicy butter-hot sauce glaze, served with homemade blue cheese dressing.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (20 ounce) package ground turkey
  • 1 small onion, grated
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 0.25 cup butter
  • 0.5 cup hot pepper sauce (such as Frank's RedHot®)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder, or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder, or to taste
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 0.5 cup blue cheese crumbles
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder, or to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon onion powder, or to taste
  • 1 pinch black pepper, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), then prepare a 9x13-inch baking pan by lining it with aluminum foil and lightly spraying it with cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the ground turkey, grated onion, salt, and black pepper until well combined. Transfer the mixture to a baking pan and shape it into a loaf.
  • Bake meatloaf until beautifully golden for about 40 minutes in the preheated oven.
  • In a small saucepan, gently melt the butter over low heat. Add hot pepper sauce, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, and 1 teaspoon of onion powder, then drizzle the mixture evenly over the meatloaf.
  • Continue baking the meatloaf until it absorbs all the delicious flavors, approximately 5 more minutes. Use an instant-read thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches at least 165°F (74°C).
  • Mix together sour cream, mayonnaise, and blue cheese crumbs in a bowl to create a flavorful blue cheese dressing. Add 1/2 teaspoon each of garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper to season. Enjoy it as a delectable accompaniment to meatloaf.
