Indulgent mashed potatoes with cream cheese – effortlessly delicious for Thanksgiving!
Ingredients:
  • 8 pounds russet potatoes
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup butter, cut into pieces
  • 0.5 cup prepared minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon salt, or more to taste
Instructions:
  • Thoroughly wash the potatoes and cut them into 2- to 3-inch chunks. Place in a large pot and cover with hot water, leaving about 1 inch of water above the potatoes. Bring to a boil.
  • Cook potatoes until tender, 15 to 20 minutes. Drain and return to pot.
  • Combine cream cheese, butter, garlic, and salt, then mash the potatoes with a potato masher and stir well using a wooden spoon.
