Cake Batter Chex® Mix

Whip up a fun and flavorful vanilla Chex cereal treat using cake mix, vanilla chips, and sprinkles.
Ingredients:
  • 9 cups Rice Chex™ cereal
  • 1 cup white vanilla baking chips (6 oz)
  • 1/4 cup butter, cut into pieces
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup from 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Vanilla Cake Mix
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons assorted Betty Crocker™ Decorating Decors candy sprinkles
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 250°F. Place cereal in a large bowl and set it aside.
  • Place white chips and butter in a small microwavable bowl. Microwave uncovered on High for 30 seconds, then stir. Continue microwaving in 30-second intervals until the chips and butter are softened and can be stirred smooth. Add vanilla and stir well.
  • • Drizzle the mixture over the cereal and toss until fully coated. Sprinkle the dry cake mix, powdered sugar, and sprinkles over the cereal, then toss until well coated. Finally, spread the mixture in a single layer on a 15x10-inch pan or large cookie sheet.
  • Bake the dish for 30 minutes without covering, remembering to stir halfway through. Allow it to cool for about 15 minutes. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
