Caramelised banana with toffee sauce

Family-friendly bananas in gooey toffee sauce make dessert a delight!
Ingredients:
  • 60g butter
  • 4 bananas, peeled, halved lengthways
  • 90.00 gm firmly packed brown sugar
  • 40.40 gm thickened cream
Instructions:
  • In a large, non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat, melt the butter until sizzling. Add the banana slices and cook for 5 minutes, turning occasionally, until beautifully golden. Transfer to a plate and cover with foil to keep warm.
  • Pour sugar into the pan and cook, stirring continuously, for 2 to 3 minutes until the sugar dissolves. Then, add the cream and continue stirring for 2 minutes until well combined. Arrange the bananas on serving plates, drizzle with 1 tablespoon of the sauce, and serve with the extra sauce on the side.
