Sautéed bell peppers and sweet red onions elevate any dish, perfect with lamb, chicken, sausage, steak, or any entrée.
Ingredients:
  • 2 red bell pepper, cut into strips
  • 2 red onions, cut into strips
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 0.25 cup red wine
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper
  • 1 pinch dried basil
Instructions:
  • In a hot saucepan over medium heat, sauté bell pepper and onions in oil and butter for 2 minutes. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook, stirring occasionally, until vegetables soften.
  • Add red wine to the vegetables and simmer until the wine reduces, around 15 to 25 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and basil to enhance flavors.
