Sweet-spicy rubbed pork ribs basted with orange and lime juice for tangy-spicy crust.
Ingredients:
  • 2 teaspoons fresh ginger root, grated
  • 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground clove
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 teaspoons black pepper
  • 2 limes, zested and juiced
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 rack pork spareribs, cut in half
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Combine brown sugar, ginger, cayenne, clove, cinnamon, paprika, oregano, pepper, salt, and lime zest in a bowl; set aside. Mix lime juice with orange juice. Rub ribs generously with the spice mix. Transfer ribs to a glass baking dish and pour in the juice.
  • After covering the dish, bake it in a preheated oven for 90 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 20-30 minutes until nicely colored, brushing the ribs with the pan juices occasionally.
