Quick and delicious cedar plank salmon with sweet sesame glaze, ready in under 45 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • 3 tablespoons water, or as needed
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 4 (6 ounce) salmon fillets, with skin
  • 1 12-inch untreated cedar plank, soaked in water for 2 hours
Instructions:
  • Heat up your oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
  • In a small bowl, blend brown sugar, sesame oil, sesame seeds, and dill together. Gradually incorporate water until the mixture reaches a liquid consistency. Add soy sauce and pepper, stirring well.
  • Lay the salmon fillets, skin-side down, on the soaked cedar plank. Drizzle the sugar mixture over the fillets, making sure to cover them completely.
  • Simply slide the cedar plank onto a rack in the oven and bake until the fish easily flakes with a fork, which should take 30 to 40 minutes.
