Juicy pork cutlets and crisp veggies make a perfect family dinner.
Ingredients:
  • 4 (about 200g each) pork cutlets
  • 62.50 ml char siu sauce
  • 21.60 gm hoisin sauce
  • 18.40 gm canola oil
  • 500g chat potatoes, halved
  • 1 bunch baby carrots, peeled
  • 200g green beans, topped
  • 10.00 gm butter
  • 62.50 ml coriander leaves, chopped
Instructions:
  • Place the cutlets in a beautiful ceramic dish. Mix together the flavorful char siu and hoisin sauces. Massage this delicious mixture onto both sides of the cutlets. Cover the dish and let it chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours to marinate.
  • Preheat a barbecue grill or chargrill over high heat, then reduce to medium-low. Lightly brush the grill with oil and cook the cutlets for 5 minutes on each side until just cooked through. Transfer to a plate, cover with foil, and let them stand for 5 minutes before serving.
  • Boil potatoes in salted water until tender, about 8 minutes. Transfer them to a bowl. Reheat the water and add a pinch of salt, carrots, and beans. Cook for 2 minutes until tender. Drain the vegetables.
  • Toss potatoes with butter, coriander, salt, and pepper. Serve with cutlets.
