Cheddar, Beer and Pumpkin Fondue

Host a cozy fondue party to savor the flavors of the harvest in style.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup dark beer
  • 2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese (8 oz)
  • 1 rounded tablespoon Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie mix)
  • 1 tablespoon coarse-grained mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 or 4 dashes Frank's™ RedHot™ Original cayenne pepper sauce
  • 2 cups soft bread cubes
Instructions:
  • Warm up the beer in a 2-quart saucepan over medium heat.
  • In a medium bowl, mix cheese and flour until well combined.
  • Once the beer comes to a gentle simmer, gradually add the cheese mixture, 1/4 cup at a time, stirring after each addition until the cheese is completely melted. Then, mix in the pumpkin, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and hot sauce until the mixture is smooth.
  • Serve the delicious fondue alongside golden bread cubes for dipping.
