Cheese and bacon croissant puffs recipe

Cheesy bacon croissant puffs for a delightful surprise in every bite.
Ingredients:
  • 9.20 gm vegetable oil
  • 200g streaky bacon rashers, cut into 1cm pieces
  • 150g pkt mini croissants, cut into 1cm thick slices
  • 4 eggs
  • 300ml thickened cream
  • 155g (1½ cups) pre-grated 3 cheese blend
  • 20.00 ml chopped fresh chives
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 190°C (170°C fan forced) and lightly grease 6 holes of a 250ml (1 cup) muffin pan.
  • In a heated frying pan, cook bacon in oil until golden, about 2-3 minutes. Then add croissants and toast for 1-2 minutes until lightly browned. Set aside for later use.
  • In a large jug, vigorously whisk together eggs and cream until smooth. Season with your favorite spices. Gently fold in crispy bacon, flaky croissants, gooey cheese, and fragrant chives.
  • Spoon mixture evenly into the 6 muffin holes. Bake until golden brown, around 15-20 minutes.
