Ultimate classic egg dish to satisfy all your cravings!
Ingredients:
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons butter or margarine
  • 1/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper, if desired
Instructions:
  • Whisk eggs in a small bowl until thoroughly combined.
  • In an 8-inch skillet over medium-high heat, sizzle and swirl butter until hot and evenly coating the bottom of the skillet.
  • Pour eggs into skillet and stir rapidly over heat to evenly spread and thicken. Allow omelet to lightly brown, then sprinkle with cheese before folding. Be careful not to overcook, as omelet will continue to cook after folding.
  • Gently loosen the omelet from the skillet using a spatula, then fold one half over the other. Flip the folded omelet onto a warm plate, ensuring the folded side ends up on the bottom. Optionally, tuck in the sides for a neater presentation and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
