Ingredients:
  • 50g butter
  • 40.00 ml plain flour
  • 515.00 gm milk
  • 250.00 ml grated cheddar cheese
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter until foamy, about 2 minutes. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute until bubbly. Remove from heat and slowly whisk in milk, adding 1/4 cup at a time to prevent lumps. Stir constantly.
  • Return the pan to medium heat and cook the mixture while stirring for about 5 minutes, or until the sauce comes to a boil and thickens. Once the sauce is thick, stir in the cheese until it becomes smooth. Remove the pan from the heat.
