Cheesy meatloaf with creamy mushroom sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup crushed buttery round crackers (such as Ritz®)
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1.5 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Combine ground beef, onion, bell pepper, 1 cup Cheddar cheese, Worcestershire sauce, sour cream, and crackers in a bowl. Transfer mixture to a baking dish and form into a loaf shape.
  • Roast in the oven until fully cooked in the middle, for about 35 to 40 minutes, ensuring the internal temperature reaches a minimum of 160 degrees F (70 degrees C) when checked with a thermometer.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, and 1 1/2 cups of Cheddar cheese. Stir until the cheese is melted, which should take about 10 minutes. Drizzle the sauce over the meatloaf before serving.
