Decadent chocolate brownies topped with luscious cheesecake swirls.
Ingredients:
  • Melted butter, to grease
  • 150g dark cooking chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 100g butter, chopped
  • 3 eggs
  • 75g (1/2 cup) plain flour
  • 215g (1 cup) caster sugar
  • 20.00 gm Cocoa Powder
  • 250g pkt cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 65g (1/4 cup) sour cream
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 160°C. Brush a 16 x 26cm slab pan with melted butter and line it with non-stick baking paper, allowing the edges to hang over the sides.
  • Melt the chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl over simmering water, stirring until smooth. Allow to cool for 5 minutes. Whisk in 2 eggs until combined.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the flour, 100g (1/2 cup) caster sugar, and cocoa powder. Fold in the chocolate mixture until just combined.
  • Using an electric beater, whip together cream cheese, sour cream, and remaining sugar until smooth in a bowl. Then add the remaining egg and beat until just combined.
  • Layer the chocolate and cream cheese mixtures in the pan, swirling them with a skewer. Bake for 50 minutes until a skewer comes out with crumbs. Let it cool in the pan for 3 hours before serving.
