Cheesy hamburger rice casserole: Quick, easy comfort food made with 5 ingredients. Perfect for a delicious dinner!
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes with juice
  • 0.5 cup long grain white rice
  • 0.75 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions:
  • Begin by breaking apart the ground beef in a hot skillet until it's nicely browned. Drain any excess grease, then mix in the cream of mushroom soup, tomatoes, and uncooked rice. Cover and let it simmer on low heat, stirring occasionally, until the rice is tender, which should take approximately 15 minutes.
  • Preheat the broiler. Once the rice is cooked, transfer from the skillet to a casserole dish and top with a layer of cheese.
  • Broil until the cheese is gooey and golden. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then savor every delicious bite!
