Instant Pot® comfort meal: Frozen chicken, cheese sauce, canned soup, ranch dressing mix. Easy and tasty!
Ingredients:
  • 2 frozen skinless, boneless chicken breasts, or more to taste
  • 1 (32 ounce) carton chicken broth, divided
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 0.5 (12 fluid ounce) can evaporated milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 (1 ounce) package ranch dressing mix
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 (16 ounce) package rotini pasta
  • 7 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 2 cups shredded mild Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (4 ounce) envelope cheese sauce (such as Velveeta®)
Instructions:
  • Add chicken breasts to the Instant Pot. Pour in chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, milk, butter, ranch dressing mix, and onion powder. Seal the lid and set the Poultry setting for 25 minutes. Let the pressure naturally release for 10-15 minutes before opening.
  • Carefully release pressure using the quick-release method following the manufacturer's instructions for approximately 5 minutes. Unlock and lift off the lid.
  • Use a slotted spoon to move the chicken to a cutting board. Shred it and put it back in the pot along with rotini, remaining chicken broth, and bacon. Lock the lid, select the high pressure setting for 5 minutes, and allow 10 to 15 minutes for pressure to build.
  • Carefully execute quick-release as per manufacturer's instructions for about 5 minutes. Unlock and lift off the lid.
  • Blend the shredded mild Cheddar cheese and cheese sauce until fully mixed.
