Cherries Jubilee Cheesecake Bars

Quick and easy cherry cake cheesecake with minimal steps.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Delights Super Moist™ Cherry Chip Cake Mix
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Cherry Frosting
  • 3 eggs
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 325°F. Use an electric mixer on low speed to blend the dry cake mix and butter in a large bowl until crumbly. Set aside 1 cup of the mixture. Press the remaining crumbly mixture into the bottom of a 13x9-inch ungreased pan.
  • Using an electric mixer, blend cream cheese and frosting in the same bowl until smooth. Add eggs and mix until well combined. Pour the mixture over the crust and sprinkle the reserved crumbly mixture on top.
  • Bake for around 45 minutes (or 42 minutes for a dark or nonstick pan) until set; let it cool completely. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours until chilled. Cut into 6 rows by 6 rows to make bars. Keep refrigerated.
