Indulge in decadent dark chocolate brownies.
Ingredients:
  • 200g dark cooking chocolate
  • 150g butter, chopped
  • 200g brown sugar
  • 3 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 150g plain flour
  • 85g desiccated coconut
  • 425g can stoneless black cherries, drained
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180°C. Lightly grease a 16cm x 26cm slab pan and line it with nonstick baking paper.
  • Combine the chocolate and butter in a microwave-safe dish. Heat in the microwave at 50% power, pausing to stir once, until fully melted, around 2 minutes.
  • Incorporate the sugar into the chocolate mixture, ensuring a smooth texture. Add the eggs, flour, coconut, and gently mix in the cherries.
  • Transfer the mixture into the prepared pan and bake for 40 minutes. Allow it to cool in the pan before cutting into squares for serving.
