Easy cherry crumble with juicy filling, buttery oats, and brown sugar. Simpler than pie, deliciously indulgent.
Ingredients:
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 1.125 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup rolled oats
  • 6 tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • 0.125 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Take it off the heat and mix in the flour, oats, brown sugar, and salt until it forms a crumbly mixture. Press about two-thirds of the crumbs evenly into the bottom of a 9-inch square pan. Spread the cherry pie filling on top and sprinkle with the remaining crumb mixture.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes until the top is lightly browned. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.
