Start your morning right with a delicious and healthy cherry muesli slice!
Ingredients:
  • 625.00 ml Oven-Crisp Muesli
  • 125.00 ml red glace cherries, chopped
  • 250.00 ml flaked almonds
  • 100.00 gm rolled oats
  • 48.75 gm shredded coconut
  • 395g can sweetened condensed milk
  • 125g butter, chopped
Instructions:
  • Prepare a 6cm-deep, 20cm square cake pan by greasing it and lining with baking paper, ensuring a 5cm overhang on all sides.
  • Mix together the muesli, cherries, almonds, oats, and coconut in a large bowl.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter into milk. Stir continuously for 4 to 5 minutes until the mixture is smooth. Add it to the muesli mixture and combine well. Press the mixture into a prepared pan, smoothing the top. Cover and refrigerate overnight, allowing it to set. Cut into 15 pieces and serve.
