Elevate stir-fry with Chinese honey soy roast pork marinated in ginger and garlic.
Ingredients:
  • 125ml char sui sauce
  • 57.20 gm honey
  • 42.00 gm soy sauce
  • 2 tsp ginger, finely grated
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2kg Pork Forequarter Boneless Roast
  • 4.60 gm peanut oil
  • 2 x 300g pkt Superfood Stir-Fry
  • Sliced spring onions, to serve
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 200C. In a jug, mix together the char siu, honey, soy sauce, ginger, and garlic. Next, place the pork in a glass or ceramic dish and generously coat it with three-quarters of the char siu mixture. Let the pork sit for 15 minutes to enhance the flavors.
  • Set the pork on a rack in a roasting pan and surround it with 2 cups of water. Roast in the oven, occasionally brushing with the leftover char siu mix halfway through, for 1 hour and 45 minutes until fully cooked. Wrap the pork in foil and let it rest for 30 minutes before serving.
  • After allowing the pork to rest, warm the oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Stir in the stir-fry mix and cook for 3 minutes. Then add the rest of the char siu mixture and cook for another 2 minutes. Slice the pork and serve alongside the stir-fried veggies. Garnish with spring onions before serving.
