Decadent chocolate banana muffins bursting with banana and chocolate goodness, featuring reduced sugar for a moist, flavorful, and effortless treat!
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1.5 teaspoons baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 0.5 cup canola oil
  • 0.25 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 large very ripe bananas, mashed
  • 0.75 mini semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and prepare a 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together sugar, oil, milk, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add this mixture into the flour mixture and stir until just moistened. Gently fold in the bananas and chocolate chips.
  • Distribute the batter evenly into the muffin cups, filling each about 3/4 of the way.
  • Bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, about 20-25 minutes in the preheated oven.
