Irresistible banana bread studded with chocolate chips, perfect for individual indulgence in mini loaf pans.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large very ripe bananas, mashed
  • 0.33300000429153 cup sour cream
  • 0.33300000429153 cup buttermilk
  • 2.5 cups unsifted cake flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.25 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1.5 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) then lightly grease a 10-inch tube cake pan.
  • Cream butter and sugar in a large bowl until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla. Mix in mashed bananas, sour cream, and buttermilk. Combine cake flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder. Stir into banana mixture. Fold in chocolate chips and pour into prepared pan.
  • Bake in a preheated oven for 35 to 45 minutes until golden brown with the top springing back when touched. Let it cool in the pan for 15 minutes before slicing and enjoy after completely cooling.
