Chocolate Covered Toffee Grahams

Decadent chocolate-dipped graham crackers with toffee bits.
Ingredients:
  • 12 oz vanilla-flavored candy coating (almond bark), chopped
  • 4 oz white chocolate baking bars or squares, chopped
  • 4 tablespoons shortening
  • 36 graham cracker squares
  • 12 oz chocolate-flavored candy coating, chopped
  • 4 oz semisweet baking chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 cup toffee bits
Instructions:
  • Cover a cookie sheet with parchment paper. In a medium microwave-safe bowl, heat vanilla candy coating, white chocolate, and 2 tablespoons of shortening on High for 1 to 2 minutes until melted and smooth when stirred.
  • Dip 18 graham cracker squares in the mixture, ensuring both sides are coated. Gently tap off any excess. Place on a cookie sheet and refrigerate for 20 minutes, or until the coating is firm.
  • In a separate microwave-safe bowl, microwave chocolate candy coating, semisweet chocolate, and the remaining 2 tablespoons of shortening uncovered on High for 1 to 2 minutes until melted and smooth when stirred.
  • Coat both sides of the remaining 18 graham cracker squares in the mixture, tap off excess, and place them on a cookie sheet. Refrigerate until the coating is firm.
  • Drizzle the leftover white chocolate and semisweet chocolate over the dipped grahams, then sprinkle them with toffee bits. Chill until firm.
