Upgrade Betty Crocker® cookie mix into festive Halloween chocolate oat cherry cookie pops.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup chopped almonds
  • 3/4 cup chopped dried sour cherries
  • 24 craft sticks (flat wooden sticks with round ends)
  • 4 oz semisweet baking chocolate, chopped
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F. Combine cookie mix, butter, and egg in a large bowl until a soft dough forms. Mix in almonds and cherries until fully incorporated.
  • Form dough into 2-inch balls, then place them on an ungreased cookie sheet, ensuring they are 2 inches apart. Gently flatten each ball and insert a craft stick halfway into the center.
  • Bake for 13 to 14 minutes until just set. Let cool for 2 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack. Allow to cool completely.
  • Microwave chocolate in a small bowl on High for about 1 minute until softened and smooth. Transfer melted chocolate into a small resealable plastic bag, seal it, cut off a tiny corner, and pipe a zigzag design over cookies. Allow to set before serving.
