Cinnamon-sugar coated buttery bread bites - irresistibly delicious!
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 3 1/2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar, if desired
  • 2 to 3 teaspoons water, if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Grease a 9x5x3-inch loaf pan with shortening. Combine 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl; set aside.
  • Combine Bisquick mix, milk, 1/3 cup granulated sugar, 3 tablespoons butter, vanilla, and egg in a medium bowl until a soft dough forms. Shape into 1-inch balls, coat with cinnamon-sugar, randomly place in a pan, sprinkle with any remaining cinnamon-sugar, and drizzle with 2 tablespoons melted butter.
  • Bake until beautifully golden for 25 to 30 minutes. Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  • Prepare a delightful glaze by combining powdered sugar and water until it reaches a drizzling consistency; drizzle it over the loaf, then cut into slices and serve warm.
