Transform cinnamon roll dough into charming bunny shapes for festive Easter or baby shower desserts.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (16 ounce) package cinnamon roll dough with glaze (such as Immaculate®)
  • 5 raisins
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  • Take one cinnamon roll dough and divide it in half. Roll one half to create the "body" of the bunny and position it so the outer end is facing downwards to form the "front legs". Cut off 1/3 of the other half and roll it for the "tail". Roll up the remaining 2/3 of the dough halfway to form the "head". Finally, slice through the rest of the dough and fan it out for the "ears".
  • Remove any cinnamon coating by gently rubbing the dough, dampen it slightly, then press the "tail" and "head" onto the "body". Shape the "ears" by spreading them out and pinching the tips. Repeat with the rest of the rolls.
  • Gently lift the "bunnies" onto the baking sheet using a spatula or scraper.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 18 minutes until golden brown. Then, transfer the "bunnies" on parchment paper to a rack to cool slightly.
  • Spread the glaze over the warm "bunnies", following the swirls and ears pattern. Press a raisin into the center of the swirl on the head to create the "eyes".
