Treat your brunch guests to a decadent cinnamon roll casserole using everyday ingredients.
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 1.25 cups white sugar, divided
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 3 (8 ounce) tubes refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 cup crushed salted peanuts, or to taste
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup margarine
  • 2 tablespoons margarine
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) while you spray a 3-quart casserole dish with cooking spray.
  • Mix together 3/4 cup of white sugar and cinnamon in a large bowl.
  • Take each biscuit and slice it into 4 pieces, then toss them in the sugar mixture until they are thoroughly coated. Then, place them in the ready casserole dish.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons of margarine for 3 to 5 minutes. Add 1/2 cup white sugar, peanuts, and brown sugar. Evenly pour the mixture over the biscuits in the casserole dish to moisten them.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 40 minutes until golden. Remove, gently mix, and return to oven for an additional 15 minutes until puffed and browned.
  • Allow the casserole to rest for 15 minutes before serving.
