Festive vanilla-cinnamon cookies with irresistible cinnamon roll flavor - perfect for holiday baking.
Ingredients:
  • 6 cups all-purpose flour
  • 4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 cups butter, softened
  • 2 cups dark brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 6 teaspoons vanilla extract
Instructions:
  • In a bowl, mix together flour, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, use an electric mixer to blend the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract. Gently fold the flour mixture into the butter mixture until a smooth dough forms.
  • Separate the dough into 4 portions and press them into 1-inch thick circles. Wrap with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and prepare 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Roll the dough to 1/4-inch thickness on a lightly floured surface and use cookie cutters to create your desired shapes. Transfer the cookies to the baking sheets.
  • Place in the oven that has been preheated until the edges turn golden brown, for about 8 to 10 minutes. Allow to cool on wire racks, then adorn with your preferred decorations.
