Clam Sauce with Linguine

Quick and delicious linguine with buttery clam and mushroom sauce. Upgrade with fettuccine. Pair with fresh bread and salad.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (16 ounce) package linguine pasta
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 3 cloves chopped garlic
  • 1 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 (6.5 ounce) cans chopped clams with juice
  • 0.5 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground white pepper
  • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
  • 1. Boil a large pot of lightly salted water. Add the pasta and cook until al dente, about 8 to 10 minutes. Drain the pasta.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Sauté garlic and mushrooms until golden brown. Add clams with juice, parsley, salt, and white pepper. Cook until hot. Mix with pasta until well coated. Serve topped with Parmesan cheese.
